Laboratories

Cryogenic Centre at the Institute of Physics (KaCIF) is the infrastructural project which will carry out organizational reform and restructuring of the existing laboratories and technical facilities related to cryogenics and scientific research within the condensed matter physics and materials science at the Institute. The existing specialized experimental equipment will be joined by the new state-of-the-art research equipment, thus forming laboratories which will allow the comprehensive investigations of physical phenomena and materials properties.

Restructuring of the laboratories will be carried out in accordance with the development and research strategy of the Institute of Physics and in synergy with other projects of the Institute of Physics, most notably with the strategic Croatian project Center for Advanced Laser Techniques – CALT.
